3月5日，因景洪檢驗站內線路老化損壞，急需維修更換，景陽公司機修隊隊長李明忠得知這一消息后，及時帶領“李明忠勞模創新工作室”3名成員，放棄周末休息時間，自帶被褥趕到檢驗站，立馬投入到線路更換工作中。

李明忠一行克服維修場地狹窄，線路較多，操作不方便不利因素，經過兩天的緊張細致搶修，終于把線路更換好。在搶修的空隙時間里，得知景洪第一制膠廠廢水處理池的管子也急需更換時，李明忠機修隊二話不說，馬上和大家一起投入搶修，經過兩天順利修好。又馬不停蹄地趕往橄欖壩第三制膠廠進行其他維修工作。

此次維修，不僅為公司節約了大量的資金，還及時保證了檢驗站和制膠廠的生產生活，這正是共產黨員平凡和高尚的精神體現，也是值得大家學習的地方。（展璟）
